June 12, 2015--In a panel organized by Foundation for Middle Eastern in Paris, France, Dr. Bruno Tertrais, Senior Research Fellow at France's Foundation for Strategic Research (FRS), Dr. Olli Heinonen, former Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), currently at the Belfor Center at Harvard University; former CIA director James Woolsey; former White House Director of Public Liaison Linda Chavez; and Alireza Jafarzadeh, deputy director of the US representative office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) participated. The panel was moderated by Ambassador Lincoln P. Bloomfield, Jr., former Assistant Secretary of State for political military affairs, and current chairman of the Stimson Center. They discussed the nuclear negotiations with Iran, how Iran views the talks, what tactics Tehran has been pursuing, what constitutes a good deal, and the way forward.
