An Inside Look at the FNC Special Investigation, Iran: The Ticking Bomb
Fox News, September 29, 2007

This week, the world
watched the always-bellicose Mahmoud Ahmadinejad making
rounds in New York City. With a barrage of outright lies, he
addressed Columbia University, the United Nations General
Assembly and talked to reporters in Washington, DC and New
York. Ahmadinejad astonished his audience by claiming that
Iran's nuclear program has always been "completely peaceful
and transparent." He also claimed that Iran had cooperated
fully with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and
that Iran's nuclear file is now closed; the issue is now
with the Agency and no longer at the Security Council.
Regarding Iraq, Ahmadinejad said that the United States does
not have "the courage to declare their defeat and exit
Iraq,” as he claimed that Iran seeks "tranquility, full
peace and security in Iraq." Ahmadinejad also made a
desperate attempt to ridicule the mounting credible evidence
about Tehran's violent intervention in Iraq by saying that
Americans "take a gun or some explosives, put it in front of
the camera and say the Iranians have defeated our army.”
In yet another stunning statement, Ahmadinejad also asserted
that not only is his government not involved in terrorism,
but rather the ayatollahs’ regime was a victim of it. He
then accused the United States of supporting terrorism.
The facts prove Ahmadinejad dead wrong on every point. He
wants the world to forget that the Iranian regime ran a
clandestine nuclear program for 18 years until I helped
expose it in August of 2002, thanks to the information
provided by Iran's opposition coalition — the parliament in
exile — the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
The Iranian regime's president does not want the world know
that it was his regime that carried out the 1994 bombing of
the Jewish Community Center in Argentina where some 90
people were murdered. I exposed Tehran's terror network in
Argentina including the main culprits behind this horrifying
crime.
Most importantly, the American public is well aware that
Ahmadinejad’s claim that Iran seeks full peace and security
in Iraq is an outrageous lie. Since late 2003, I have been
exposing Tehran's dominant role in spreading violence and
insecurity to Iraq. The U.S. military and a growing number
of prominent Iraqi political figures have confirmed these
facts. The U.S. military has been emphatic that the
deadliest attacks against U.S. troops come from Iran-made
bombs used by Iran-backed militias.
FOX News Channel's special investigation "Iran: the Ticking
Bomb," airing at 9 p.m. ET this Saturday will challenge
every claim Ahmadinejad has made and dismantle his system of
lies and deception. The Saturday special will expose the
real Ahmadinejad and unmask the real agenda and nefarious
practices of his regime.
The stunning and detailed evidence presented in the program,
reveals the depth of Iran's sponsorship of terrorism and
chaos in Iraq. Using satellite images, I will walk you
through the districts of Tehran containing manufacturing
sites for sophisticated Explosively Formed Projectiles (EFPs),
run by the elite units of Iran’s military.
This special will expose the terrorist training centers in
Iran where Iraqis are trained in guerilla warfare and
explosives before they are sent back to target the coalition
forces. It reveals details about the real agenda of the
terror-sponsoring ayatollahs’ regime in Iraq and the
escalating role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp in
advancing this agenda. You will learn how Iran calls for the
departure of the United States military so that Tehran can
step in and fill the vacuum.
I have been involved with FOX News Channel specials about
Iran since 2004, but this upcoming special presents by far
the most gripping facts yet about Ahmadinejad and his
hard-line regime. It's an essential important report for
everyone who is concerned about the Iran threat and cares
about the outcome in Iraq. After you watch the special,
don't forget to share your thoughts with me; I am waiting to
receive your e-mails.
"Iran: The Ticking Bomb" airs on Saturday at 9 p.m. EST.
